WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

We are located at 2446 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. in Land O Lakes, Florida, 34639.  Conveniently located in the Pasco Plaza shopping center at the intersection of Land O’ Lakes Boulevard (Highway 41) and HWY 54.  We are behind the McDonald's and across from Big Lots.  We are just North of Tampa and only minutes from Clearwater and St. Petersburg.

WHO ARE WE?

We are unique! We offer unparalleled all breed pet grooming in conjunction with exceptional and innovative retail items for both yourself as well as your pet.

Our head groomer and co-owner, Martin Ellis, is a graduate of the Academy of Animal Arts in Florida. Prior to opening the Red Hydrant Pet Spa and Boutique, he worked in a top salon in St. Petersburg as well as an AAHA accredited veterinarian grooming shop in Port Richey. He is a member and in good standing with the National Dog Groomer's Association of America. He has also studied anatomy, AKC Breed Standards, breeding and AKC Show Grooming with well-known breeders and AKC Best of Show judges.  He also spends time coaching, developing and perfecting the skills of grooming students.  Martin is also a volunteer at the Pasco Animal Shelter.

Our buyer and co-owner, Roman Giamarese has shopped in markets all over the country in order to provide you with some of the finest and best unique values in pet care and accessories. Collectively Martin and Roman have over 33 years of combined retail experience. Both of them are committed to offering you and your pet exceptional customer service.

Although we love all pets, our four-legged children are two Flowered Chinese Shar-peis. They are eight years old and sisters from the same litter…Sydney and Muriel. Feel free to stop in and say HELLO to them. They are often at the Spa having their nails done or in the Boutique test driving one of the beds and sampling treats.

MEET THE STAFF:

Kristin McKendry joined the Red Hydrant Spa with over 6 years of grooming experience.  She has worked at several leading salons in Pinellas county as well as a veterinary hospital in Tampa.  She is also the proud new mother to Bentley...a loving English Bulldog.  Customers comment regularly about how comfortable she is with the animals.

Rosie Capps McIver joined Red Hydrant in November of 2006 and has continued to show great care and compassion for the dogs in the capacity of spa assistant and bather.  She lives in Lutz with her husband Barrett and their two Pit bulls, Zek and Faith.  She is also studying to become a groomer.

Sheryl Esdale is our newest member of the Red Hydrant team.  She works in the Boutique assisting with client check ins, making and confirming appointments and verifying that all vacinations are current on each of our customers.  This lovely southern belle is from Alabama and lives here in Land O Lakes with Callie, her Maltese mix and her husband James.
